Craftshan Studio is the personal creative work of M Kashian Malik, founded around a simple belief: good digital design should look clean, feel thoughtful, and be practical for the person who is going to make something with it. What began with curiosity and a willingness to learn gradually became a focused direction in laser-cut and crafting design.
The name Craftshan combines “Craft”, reflecting the world of crafting and making, with “Shan”, taken from Kashian’s name. It represents both sides of the journey — the love of making useful designs and the personal effort behind building a creative identity.
While he was a computer science student, Kashian was also steadily developing his design skills outside his studies. The early stage was far from ideal. He worked on a low-end laptop where even opening Adobe Illustrator could take several minutes. Instead of waiting for better equipment, he chose to work with what he had: learning the software, practising, studying references, testing ideas, and improving one design at a time.
With continuous support from his father, his setup eventually improved and gave him more room to experiment. Another important influence was his close friend Saqib Ahmed, whom he considers like an elder brother. Saqib introduced him to the foundations of design, helped him through early challenges, and encouraged him to keep developing the skill instead of treating it as a temporary hobby.
That experience shaped the way Craftshan Studio approaches digital design today. The focus is on practical laser-cut files such as ornaments, earrings, keychains, signs, layered pieces, and other maker-friendly projects. The goal is not to make a design complicated for the sake of looking impressive. The goal is to make it clear, balanced, usable, and ready for the creative process that comes after the download.
Each design begins with an idea, but the details matter just as much. Cut lines, shapes, spacing, layers, proportions, and the overall ease of use all influence whether a file is genuinely useful. Kashian believes that one of the most valuable skills in design is the ability to think of new possibilities and then turn those ideas into something people can actually make.

Our license is designed for makers and crafters who purchase digital files from Craftshan Studio to create finished physical products. The digital design remains protected while you receive the rights described below for your own projects and eligible commercial work.
You may use a purchased design to make finished physical products. You may not sell, share, upload, redistribute, or otherwise provide the digital design file itself to other people or businesses.
For products marked as commercially licensed, the intended commercial use is the creation and sale of finished physical goods such as ornaments, signs, earrings, keychains, layered decor, gifts, and other craft products made from suitable materials.
The commercial permission applies to the finished physical item, not to the reusable digital file used to make it.

Laser machines, cutting software, operating systems, materials, and workflows vary widely. Craftshan Studio provides the formats stated on the product page but cannot guarantee compatibility with every machine or software configuration.
Customers are responsible for checking the listed formats and confirming that they can use the files with their own setup before purchasing. We are happy to offer reasonable troubleshooting where possible.
If the exact same digital product is purchased twice by mistake, contact us promptly with the relevant order details. Once the duplicate transaction is verified, Craftshan Studio may provide an appropriate remedy for the duplicate purchase.
If a refund is approved for a digital product, the associated license may be terminated. You must stop using the refunded design and delete the downloaded files unless Craftshan Studio confirms otherwise in writing.
A refund does not create a right to continue selling, producing, sharing, or distributing work based on the refunded digital design.
Craftshan Studio may decline requests that reasonably appear to involve repeated refund abuse, false technical claims, attempts to obtain files without payment, fraudulent chargebacks, or continued use of a product after a refund.
